with 7 1/2in. barrel, the top flat inscribed 'ADDRESS COL. SAML. COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA', under barrel loading lever, six shot cylinder etched with naval engagement scene, open top frame stamped 'COLTS PATENT' on the left, brass trigger-guard and back-strap, one piece walnut grips, sharp and crisp overall with much blue to barrel, fading case colours to frame and loading rod, sharp grips and tight action, all matching numbers except un-numbered wedge and loading rod (correct for late manufacture Navies)
